Missionary in Training (MIT):

Do you feel a call to full time missions? Are you ready to take the leap and jump into the adventure of your life? Join Operation Serve International for one year of intense training, on the field and behind the scenes, doing the work that God has called you to explore.

”How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’” –Romans 10:14-15

If you feel the call on your life to be one who brings good news to the nations, consider training for missionary work through Operation Serve International. By spending time abroad and time working behind the scenes exploring all aspects of missions work, you will finish with a clearer understanding of where God wants you on the mission field. As you pour out your time, energy and love, you will be poured into through training, equipping and most importantly, through greater knowledge of our Lord.

Fulfilling the Great Commission is an enormous task and will take the collective efforts of Christians around the world supporting missions and being missionaries who go among the nations. Therefore, OSI hopes to train those missionaries as they live out the call on their lives to be a part of God’s plan for reaching all people with the message of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We pray that through a year of training, MITs will be confirmed in their desire to spend their lives serving the Lord through missions. More than that, we pray that each MIT will leave with a deeper knowledge of Christ and a deeper faith to last them a lifetime.
